Attorney Ian Puczkowski is Augusta through and through. Born and raised here, he graduated from Westside High School in 2006 and later attended Georgia Southern University, where he earned a degree in Political Science with honors. But it was at Florida State University College of Law where his purpose crystallized — working with the Innocence Project of Florida ignited a deep, personal commitment to criminal defense that has never wavered.
He hit the ground running, cutting his teeth at the Public Defender’s Office in Florida’s 3rd Judicial Circuit before bringing that same tenacity to the Brunswick and Savannah Judicial Circuits back in his home state of Georgia. He later joined a private practice in Perry, Florida, where he met the love of his life, Lindsey.
After five years sharpening his skills in Florida’s private practice trenches, he came home — where he always belonged. Now he’s building something of his own, right here in Augusta. When he’s not fighting for clients, you’ll find him chasing around his three kids, cheering on the Greenjackets, or hitting the Augusta Canal trails with his four-legged running partner, Arya — who has never once let him skip a mile.
